No player has their position secured in Blackburn Rovers

According to the 26 year old Northern Irish centre-back of Blackburn Rovers, nobody has their place sealed in the squad as anything can happen at any given match and no one should be confident about their spot in the team which is currently fighting just to escape the bottom relegation zone of the English Championship League.

Corry Evans has been performing with Blackburn Rovers since August of 2013, after having spent almost 4 years with the English club; Evans stated that no one has a guaranteed role.

“Maybe the last few years at Blackburn players have been guaranteed starting roles but now they’re not. There are a lot of players who have come in, everyone wants to do well and wants to play, and credit to the manager for making that happen on a tight budget’’

“If you look at players who aren’t playing they are first-team players but they’ve not been down; they’ve been pushing the lads on, which is credit to them’’ Corry Evans stated.

Fortunately for Corry Evans, he has been a fairly consistent starter in the English club ever since he joined back on 2013. For the majority of his time spent at Ewood Park, the Northern Irish player has been enjoying being in the first team trying to help out Blackburn Rovers in their task of winning pieces of silverware, however in this case, their main objective is to escape the dreaded relegation zone.

Blackburn Rovers is struggling just to survive in the 2nd tier English League with only 25 points collected from their 28 opening league matches of the season. There are over 15 matches remaining before the season reaches it’s end which is more than enough time and points that are up for grabs which can turn the tides in favor of Blackburn Rovers or any other club.
