Corry Evans will miss the Northern Ireland clash against Slovakia through injury. It is a big blow for the team ahead of Thursday's Euro 2020 qualifying play-off game. Blackburn Rovers has said the 30-year-old would not participate in the Northern Ireland squad following the injury he sustained in the early moments of their 3-1 win against QPR on Saturday, 7th November. He will also lose out on the Nations League fixtures against Austria and Romania.
In another vein, Leicester City defender Jonny Evans is expected to be available for Northern Ireland's play-off final against Slovakia after missing two games for Leicester through a back injury.
